Web Porn Safe from India?
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...urjobandshipit
With the way the adult industry is set up- are we in one of the more safe zones from being gobbled up by India? Among the quotables: "If you're a Web programmer, I'm sorry, you have no right to think you can keep your job in the U.S. if you're using the same technology that existed four years ago," Vashistha says. "You've got to keep moving up. You've got to keep going back to school…. If you're not going to do that, you're going to lose your job." and... "The potential casualty list includes clerical workers, administrators, programmers, analysts, accountants, auditors, telemarketers, researchers, tax preparers, technical writers and even economists. In only a few years, this displacement of jobs has created a new class of anxious — even angry — Americans." Basically, it seems if one is in the services sector- they are fucked or will be soon. |pissed| How long before we have video monitors with Indian people as sales reps at Circuit City, or teaching a class in public school for pennies? Anyone see a solution to this? It seems the best option for anyone who paid for a good education is to move to India and teach English. ![]() Anyway- is the porn business model insulated from Indian companies taking over? |
