Q to LL owners: live of accepted site

I was just wondering what happens to the site which has been accepted to LL? I know it first goes to the ‘new’ section, than it goes to the certain niche section - but what next? Does it stay there forever or is deleted after some time? Do you rotate sites in your archives? I just would like to have some idea of how it works. -Parasso
