Warning Page questions
I see pretty much all sites require a warning page to submit for exchanges but what confuses me is that some sites require it and then their site doesn't even have a warning page.
Also some sites have more porn all over their warning page then in their site it kind of seems silly to even have it. Somebody tell me I am crazy. |

free sites have to have warning pages to get listed, but really you should try to get the surfer from the warning page to the tour.. use it as an opportunity to sell. linklists dont necessarily have to have a warning page.. they are listing you, and you will definitely get more traffic from them, then you will send back.

I like work, it fascinates me, I can sit and look at it for hours...

Warning page is the place where the most sales come from ... so build it wisely

What everyone else said. Warning page is another page to make a sale. I also have a link under my enter link that links back to my hubs and stuff, to filter traffic into my not so "nice" pages.

Where there's a will, I want to be in it.

I think "Warning Page" is kind of just what it's been called through the years. If someone is clicking on a link on my site, and they're surprised that they're finding porn, then they probably aren't too bright.
If a link list is telling you "no hardcore on the warning page", that's just an excuse to not list your site and get that free, non-reciped backlink.

That's why they say you can't have any hardcore images on your warning pages.

Mean people suck, nice people swallow, are you mean or nice?

There was a thread a while back where many link list owners said hardcore on the warning page is OK as long as the free site is not on the root domain. Just check the rules at the link lists you submit to to be sure.

I've recently started to use slightly harder banners on the warning page after going back through the rules of the link lists I submit to and finding only three (out of around sixty) that state "no hardcore on the warning page". I now submit half-expecting rejections, but none so far. |

A tip for warning pages:
Don't waste your exit traffic for google.com! pays you 1 cent for every click. I get about 10 exit clicks per day on one freesite. LL's don't see it as a blind link, as it links to non adult sites. If you like it, please use my ref link:

Taking a lowest common denominator type of approach, I think it's safest to not have hardcore images on the warning page. Some LLs don't allow it.

Of course, that begs the question ...what is hardcore? Boobs? (Should I airbrush the nipples?) Asses? "Cable porn" and even "R" rated movies show T&A, so it would seem that would be OK, but then again seeing boobs without being "warned" might be pushing things a bit in a legal sense. |
