What Can I Do?
I was reviewing some Topsite list submissions this morning from my site at oast.com
I got to a site named LiveCamCity I was amazed at the balls that someone would blatently copy my site layout, then submit to my site. Is there anything I can do... is site layout part of copyright? Thanks

Thanks GG... I'll look into that.
The site is owned and hosted in Hungary... are US (or UK) copyright laws applicable? I can't have them cited in a letter... or can I? Anyone else had this problem? I would imagine the likes of eBay, Amazon, Yahoo, etc. see (or hear) it every day.

Took the hint.

You can't do much directly to someone in Hungary, but you can DMCA / C&D his host etc. You would also probably do good to contact places like pussycash and let them know, as they may be inclined not to pay someone who is blatantly stealing page design, etc.
Remove the source of income is often the best way to get things taken care of. Alex |
