Bought a paint sprayer

Tomorrow I have to paint a room that is 37x17 feet that has lots of angels and curves that just had knock down texture put on the ceiling and walls. I've discovered that knock down texture is a bitch painting trying to get all the little holes covered with paint.

So I bought an airless paint sprayer.

Seems like it should be a whole lot better then doing it with a roller and brush which is how I did my bedroom and kitchen which was a fucking bitch and I was sore for like two days.

I figured it would do the enamel on my doors much better then how they came out with a brush. I wasn't really happy with the two that I did. I'm planning on taking them off their hinges and painting them in my garage.

After this is all done I'm painting the front of my house too so it should be real nice doing it with a sprayer.

Those can work pretty well. You have to keep them clean, I've seen a lot of hours spent trying to fix airless sprayers that were put away before they were really clean.

Keeping them clean means having a spot where you can blow out a couple of gallons of warm water, where it won't make too much of a mess. A junky spot outdoors is better than indoors, you might have to scrub the nossle while firing it and that'll spray everywhere.

I Like My New Paint Sprayer!!!

I'm already done painting that room, ceiling and all.

Last time I painted this room, about six years ago, it took me two days and I didn't even paint the ceiling that time.

I still need to do the doors and door trim. I'm planing on doing the trim with a brush and taking the doors off the hinges and painting them with the gun in my garage.
