I'm looking for a new camera, and would like some people with experience to give me some ideas.

I'm looking in the $600-$1200 range. All input appriciated, Thanks in advance!!!

$900 for that "Nikon Coolpix 5700 5.0-Megapixel Digital Camera with 8x Optical Zoom Coolpix 5700" is actually cheaper then what I paid for my Nikon 990 2 years ago - LOL
