Do you think he was the best all time being that he broke sweetness's record or is he just an ironman?

He was good. Actually Emmit was great!

Best of all time? One of..

Considering the lack of an offensive line I think you'd have to put Barry Sanders in there. If he had the heart and didn't play on such a bad team (which just kills your desire) then he would challange Emmit for that record. Oh, Jim Brown too.

If Barry didn’t retire, Emmit would never have gotten the record.

Jim Brown was just a bad ass mofo....

While I hate to see him go, I think it's time. And please, please, let him retire a Cowboy! It was all I could take to see him in a Cardinal uniform.

Good call with Brown, but Sanders had too many carries for losses imo.(he also would break a 50 yarder each game though)

Exactly as Ramster said, he had zero Offensive Line, had he the O line Emitt had his record would be so far out of reach no one would come close to it ever.

True

I guess he also ran out of singleback formation so no fullback to help either. I also would not dispute that he would have the record by now. It was all Bobby Ross's fault that he quit.

That is why I asked question, it is a great topic or debate.

Hey GG

If you don't mind me asking, what fantasy football draft were you in?

I have been in NFL.com for about 8 years now, even before they starting charging 15 bucks per team. I am in the NFL playoff one(salary cap 300 points) and in 7300 place.
Just cant see me making up 7000 spots with only 2 teams playing, oh well it is a blast anyway

in regards to FFL I have a few ideas I will discuss with others this weekend, but I know for sure I will be in at least 3 to 5 on ESPN, and I will be looking for others to join in June.

So we have plenty of time.

I have his rookie card for sale. Actually, I have almost 100 of them. I got into collecting cards about 14 years ago and I seemed to hit it at the right time.
Offers please
