Audio Editing Software

Can anyone recommend a good PC audio editing package please?

For cutting up .wavs & .mp3s, with effects like reverb etc?

I've been using Sony Sound Forge For years. It's fantastic for audio editing!

Depending on what level you're talking about playing at, I'd say look into Sound Forge and CakeWalk. I've never used Sound Forge but I've heard good things about it, and we used to do all our mixing and mastering in the studio with CakeWalk and got some bad ass results. Both are pro-level applications used in the recording industry.
