Firefox and McAfee
I was told this morning by McAfee support that McAfee recommends IE6 for virus updates and that sometimes updates will not be abled to be installed running Firefox.

This is from a firefox support group:
PostPosted: Mar Sat 5th 2005 12:26am they will work together, but McAfee uses ActiveX to determine updates for your Firewall, and Fireffox does not do ActiveX, you will have to use IE for updates, just like you have to use IE for Windows Updates. |

Took the hint.

Honestly, you would think that an anti-virus company would come up with a better way than active-x to do updates... active-x is one of the major reasons why IE is such a security nightmare
