Use of nbsp
I've noticed that a number of people use istead of a blank. Is this because they want the SE to pick up a concatenation, but they want the surfer to see the two individual words. An example is -
Outlaw Girl instead of Outlaw Girl |

Most of the time, I'd bet the html editor inserts that on them. But I know when I used to code my pages by hand, if I wanted 2 or more spaces, I had to put in a string of 's so that it looked the way I wanted it to online.

Wheither you think you can or you think you can't, Your right.

Is'nt using nbsp more proper html rather than a blank space? How does this make a difference in the SE's?
As Greenguy said, I use it when I need a space. ronnie |

If you want more than one space between anything, you have to use it. You could also use a transparent spacer gif, but that wouldn't be appropriate in all situations. I use a spacer gif to make my cock look bigger.

I know that SEs concatenate a string like outlaw_girl and read it as outlawgirl, which is why you should use outllaw-girl as a file name if you want to promote the phrase. I wondered if the SEs used   as a delimiter or a concatenation. It was looking at the source on a link on GG&J that made me think about it, but I can't remember which thread it was in now.

its the reason that internet connections need to be so much larger. The proliferation of means sending 6 characters down the line rather than one.
Its a conspiracy to make people by larger connections. Google at one point estimated they would save millions per year by not using and not using standards compliant html. No ", no carriage returns, etc. Although they do use for hardspacing in their product menus, they have pretty much done what they can to make that page as small as possible. To my knowledge, they haven't used mod_gzip/mod_deflate, but, being a market maker, I think their bandwidth costs aren't as much an issue now.

Head Boy, I wouldn't use it where you just need one space, for the reasons mentioned here. However, either way is correct HTML. I'd be really surprised if a SE penalized you for using one way instead of the other.
