What's your take on psychics?

This morning on one of the big city radio stations here they had this guy Gary Spivey on, and the listeners were just flooding the lines wanting to talk to him. Some of the things he was telling these people was totally insane and I just don't see how he could know it. Like really exact details about these people's lives or the nature of a loved one's death. He would just bring up the details out of nowhere. So I had to find out who this guy is, check out his site, heheh:

I always figured it was staged somehow, but now I don't know. What's your take on psychics? Ever had a reading done?
