This area is a ghost town, except for a few crazy bastards like me, due to mandatory evacuation. Only time will tell what happens next. We are hunkered down here on the Mississippi Coast and waiting to see. I guess it's time for a big bong rip!

Had to get out of the house yesterday so went out to one of the larger malls and bought a bunch of new tops and a few pairs of jeans. I love shopping. lol

I wish it was sunny, Dennis is letting us know how lucky we are with rain, and lot’s of wind and then dead calm repeating every other hour. But it could be worse and will be worse in the next 10 to 15 hours for the gulf people, best of luck to you all.

A friend woke me up at 12 this morning and asked if I wanted to play beach volleyball, stupid me said yes. I blame it on temporary insanity due to morning dizzyness.

morning.. recovering from yet another day of sitting by the pool sipping mango-orange sunrises and watching jiggle titted women and hairy backed men. oh how i wish for the pool side Nair consession.

cold snap in vegas continues as we are only at 103 today.. however that ends on tuesday when we climb back to the 110-112 level. needless to say..i won't be poolside those days..

Good Sunday Everyone

After 6 hours of driving & another 6 hours of poker yesterday, I'm beat. Plus I have a pulled muscle in my neck from about 2 weeks ago that's been getting worse & worse each day. I'd go to the doctor, but he moved out of state & we haven't changed to a new one yet (but that problem will be resolved tomorrow - LOL)

Morning all! Sure did have some major wind and rain last night and this morning. I feel really sorry for the people its heading for. It sure is a really bad storm be careful if your in its path.

My daughter is making cookies right now and they sure smell good. Looks like an unhealthy lunch coming up for me. Nothing like homemade cookies and milk at noon time!!!

Happy, happy Sunday, all!

After 26 hours of sheer unadulterated hell, my cat who had managed to fall through the kitchen screen was found...alive, well, and very apologetic. (Her mother, who apparently has a "zero tolerance" policy, is *still* smacking her around.) Husband repaired the screens...and had beer once the cat was home safe. I could hardly blame him.
