Converting streaming JPEGs into an mpg or wmv file
anyone knows how to convert streaming video that is made up out of jpeg's into mpg or wmv files?

That sounds more like a slide show than a video to me. Im hardly the master of video programs, but even using something like a basic video program (Studio DV 8), and taking pieces of jpg photos, draggint them into the timeline and rendering it into a video, would render a video that doesnt look very good (and thats at best).

Yes I know the quality is crap
![]() What I'm trying to do is this. A live cam-site sends several jpg's per second but I'm trying to record these images and put them in an mpg or wmv format to show as previews. |

ive never worked with jpegs as the source in premeire, but i suppose you could import the jpegs (there may be a way to import them into the timeline numerically based, i dont know ...
but might take some dicking around to get it to work and the best result. There is a wealth of information here: www.dvdrhelp.com If you dont find an answer send me an email to mb at 219inc dot com, my brother is good at finding solutions for these sort of things and he is familiar with all the lesser known programs like gordian knot (sp?) and others. There has to be a way to do it, not sure how the final result will look like, but seems you already accept it wont be perfect... |
