A Good Radio Show Tuesday to You and Yours
Good Morning
Another spring day and it is really, really cold. To look outside, you might think it was spring (as long as you didn't look down at the snow)  Anyway, my wife is going to drag me around looking at flooring again today. We decided to use Laminate flooring instead of our original hardwood. Don't ask why, just go along like I do So, I will be in and out most of the day. |

I got caught up on a lot of work yesterday & then spent the evening getting caught up on a lot of TV that I'd missed over the last week. Aside from the Radio Show tonight, I think it'll be a normal day. |

I'm sick with a cold again and feel like crap.  Not much going on except taking cold meds and hanging around the house feeling like crap. Cold meds and espresso is now being served. |

Good morning world
Amazing to wake up to news of that huge hurricane down under. Makes me think we're going to get pounded here again this season. Usual day here. About 76 degrees on the way to 84 later. Going to be figuring out WordPress this week. Also looking at boastMachine. Anyone using that one, or have an opinion about it?

my stock closed at .94 yesterday -- basis is .42
quite a bit of work over the weekend getting things cleaned up to start the next round of projects. Read about the Cyclone in Australia -- unreal. as for blogs, another one that a few clients have started using is http://www.bblog.com/. Reasonably quick and simple. As for blogs though, wordpress is probably the most popular and one of the easier ones. MovableType has a ton of plugins that do almost everything. Looking at boastmachine's source, if you plan on a well visited blog, I think I would continue looking. Even the few queries that are run on the first page are not indexed, which means that eventually, you're going to have to fix that or throw hardware at the problem. Back to the grind........

 Morning.. I had the day from hell yesterday  --too much not enough time etc-- |juggle| and today with at least 3/4 as bad as yesterday woke up to a very unfamiliar sound.. pity pat on my window pane. must be why I slept in until 4am. The highlight of my day will be a farewell  lunch with Sweedee and his lovely friend Sandi. Woot woot!!  Landscapers are coming today to give me estimates on reviving my poor neglected lawn. Maybe they'll have pity on the phat girl. Coffee & Blogging is on!! |

Good morning everyone!
Got a good night's sleep last night, I woke up feeling like a million bucks (green and wrinkled) but that is okay. More than enough to do today to last a year, but heck, I'll work on it and see. Tonight is badminton night, so I will miss another great radio show and be forced to listen to it later, checking to see if I am a star again without forewarning. Good morning all! Got a brief peek of the mountains around us this morning, and snow down into the foothills again. They are now socked in and looking like it is snowing like mad in them. Looks like rain today with highs in upper 50's but starting tomrrow, looking like the warm weather is finally coming with 70's by Thursday.
 I've been looking at Blog software too Simon, it is making my brain hurt, lol. I keep looking at everyone's blogs, and spending my time reading blogs. I'd ask your question in the blog forum, they are very helpful there. Can't wait to try my new tool. We got a compound mitre saw yesterday that has a laser guide and will cut mitres, bevels and compond cuts with miters and bevels. We can cut some serious wrap around shelves in our rooms now, plus saved some wood from our old ceder fence to make picture frames with It was a finish carpenter kit and came with a free finish nail gun we can hook up to our compressor that will shoot 2 1/2" finishing nails into wood. That sounds like an accident waiting to happen, lol. But you could either get the saw alone, or for $2 more get the nail gun too, so we got the nail gun. But right now, it is porn porn porn. Projects will have to wait for this weekend. Have a great day all!

Good Lord, Just had a mini hail storm. Hail ranging between 1/4 - 1/2" in diamater came down. I have a metal roof on a small section of our porch outside my office window, and heard it hitting that and was like wtf? Looked out and saw the hail. 10 minutes later it is all melted, and like it never was.
Looks like it is snowing like crazy in the mountains all around us. Holy crap, now a big bolt of lightening just came down. this is the weirdest ass weather I've ever seen! |shocking|

I guess it is good for our economy but damn this is the worst tourist congested hell that I've ever seen down here. Traffic is hell and there are long lines everywhere. After the last two year's storms there was a lot of concern that it was going to hurt tourism but I hear we are having the best season ever. I guess when you think about it where else can you vacation that the weather is great and you don't have to worry about getting kidnapped or something.
I actually love it here when the weather gets hot and humid and all the tourists go home. |
