Question Listing of paysites

Got a ? about how most LL's order there pages. I have noticed most of them will list the "Premium Pay Sites" immediately. Was just wondering if it makes that big of a deal. I am getting the itch to make a small and pathetic attempt|badidea| at the fabulous world of being a LL owner. I have these sites just randomly placed throughout my free site listings with a little icon.

From a marketing stand point is this good-bad-or not worth worrying about?

That's how DangerDave does it. Frankly, I consider his list to be gospel in this little world of ours. My paysite links are grouped together above the free site listings, but I don't have the quantity of traffic that DD does, so I have to make my surfers see them first.

This is kinda along the same lines I was thinking.

I have a mix (as you probably already seen)...I offer Premium Listings with logo or whatever, which show before the standard listings, but I only have a select few because these spots are for webmasters to take advantage of. I pretty much do what DD does, have them throughout the listings themselves. If there is anything I put focus on with paysites or affiliates, its generally in the homepage or other sections of the 'mainsite' areas.

I used to have another link directory a couple years back where I had all paysites and affiliates per category but had to go through them before you got to the actual site listings. It worked well, but didn't keep that concept when I sold it when starting 69toplinks.

If you intend to establish a LL for yourself, be prepared...its a lot of work.

lol...most are probably true. I'd say if you intend to make the adult industry a long-term project (as in many years), give it a try. If it doesn't work out, you can always sell the link site to another one.

Thats true. I have been doing freesites for about 3 years now. (Were's all the cash and the beamer) Just dont kow if I am ready to take it up a notch. Kinda torn between what could be and the idea that its to late to make the big money with a LL anymore.

I say go for it! After making freesites for 3 years you probably know more than enough of the basics to get started. And the longer you wait the more "too late" it's going to be. How bad can you possibly fuck up? There really isn't that much money involved and if it turns out not to work for you the only thing you've lost is a lot of time.

The good thing is you already have traffic heading to naughtybabs. The thing about going from Free-Sites to a LL is it takes patience, because sales on a LL come more slowly as compared to a free-site, in my experience while the site is growing.

So if you have the extra time in the day, and you don't mind building it for the long haul then I say go for it, but if you are already crunched for time as it is, it makes the decision that much more difficult.
