Image keyword suggestion tool?
I thought it would be great to have a keyword suggestion tool that shows image searches. I'm getting almost half of my SE traffic from google images and I'd like to build on that. But I'm not sure if such tool exists.
Image searches are pretty much the same as textual searches, but still there may be some crucial differences between them. Anybody knows anything like that? |

Well I don't know such tool but I can only say image searches suck - I got yahoo on my mind but most likelly google's too. One of my pages is indexed on 7-8 th place in images.yahoo.com since a month or maybe more, I get more than 250 image searches hits daily and guesss what... I didn't make a single sale of it..
Of course its free traffic but IMO its not worth the effort, its better to focus on 'standard' se optimalization. (and be happy if any of the images get indexed itself like it happened in my case) |

You are right that they suck because of really low conversions, but at the same you are right that it's free traffic. I got a few sales coming from images, but this is far from what I would get if all that traffic came from texual searches.
Anyway you don't have to do much optimization with images, just file names, alts and link titles, which I get automatically done for me by programs making bulk changes. So far most images have been getting indexed quite well for me |
