I only make freesites, but this is what I do on galleries in freesites.
Meta Tags: I use meta tags for keywords, description, adult content rating, robots index/follow Google Analytics: No (won't get listed if I do) Sitemeter: No (won't get listed if I do) I use server stats. They're the fastest, most secure and most reliable way to get most of the information I need. ![]()

I haven't heard of server stats...I'll check it out. What's the deal with analytics and sitemeter? The sitemeter I use is paid for, so that little colorful square on the page doesn't exist. Do the tgp's check the gallery code for that type of stats software automatically or is it a case where some will get through and some wont? What's the objection to sitemeter but not server stats?

Server stats are programs that run on the server level and keep track of traffic and stuff. I believe the two most popular programs are AWStats and Webalizer. Your host probably already has them set up, so all you have to do is find out how to view the information. If not, then contact support for your host and talk to them about setting up something like that.
