Printer Help

I hooked up a printer and have a problem. At the food network you can print the page you're on with all the colored graphics, etc. or you can click a link that says "Pring Full Page" which prints just the text without all the colored graphics. I go to print that page and all that prints is the black and white food network .gif logo and the title of the recipe and the recipe authors name. The printer sounds like it's printing the rest of the page but it comes out blank.

Why would it print the .gif logo and the title and author but not the whole recipe??
