What does this do....?

Hey all, Im not real savvy on SEO or the inner workings of SE traffic,

but I have seen over the last couple weeks sites that link back to the major SE's. And not only do they link back to them, the link they use the query URL for their website. Does this help in any way? Hurt? Whats the deal?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't help anything SEO - its just a traffic leak

They should be looking for a non adult affiliate program to use.

And IMHO, you're right. Besides, everyone knows that a much more effective way to appease the Google god is to slaughter a black goat at midnight.

Actually, I believe the Google Priests are now requiring the release of 100 doves instead of the goat slaughtering (part of that whole Green thing evidently), although it seems some airlines are still using a similar appeasement strategy.
