My site got spidered and the fucker spreads viruses

Howdy Folks,

two weeks ago my site reinspritzen.com disappeared from google-index and I just found out why:
Some asshole spiders my site and gets ranked higher than I do. Obviously google looks at my site being a copy of his.

Further, when visiting his link on google, Trojan: JS/Agent.FA is attacking your computer.

Take a look at the second entry from bottom (but be carefull with his link!!!):
http://www.google.com/search?q=cream...&start=90&sa=N

Is there something I can do about this?
I mean... this fuckers spreads viruses with my content
Any chance to report this anywhere?

Greetz
aj.

You can start here

http://www.stopbadware.org/

Google is involved with that project, along with Sun and some other heavyweights.

Is there a robot txt to keep certain bots out? And does anyone have a list of "bad" bots?

You could also send him a cease and desist or just go straight to his host and send them one. You can send a copy to the datacenter. In my experience so far, his site should be down in under 24 hours It's not even the malware, just the copyright infringement, but I'm sure the fact that he's spreading trojans won't help him either.

It's an evil proxy hijack which has encroached also my blog on subdomain.
Found information about it on some German board.

Here's an article about the procedure:
http://www.seofaststart.com/blog/google-proxy-hacking

Meanwhile I disallowed tylerschnaidt.com from accessing my site by .htaccess:
Code:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{REMOTE_ADDR} ^64.72.116.208$
RewriteRule ^(.*) http://www.examplesite.com/deny_proxy.html

If your site existed before his and he copied your content they won't remove your link.

Sorry but there must have been another reason

No - he's not the first person who has had to deal with it. The problem was discovered by professional SEOs over a year ago and Google realizes that it exists. Sad, but true.

I used to have quite a list of bots on my robots.txt but most of them ignored it making the file a waste of time.

Now i'm working on a bot trap but it's far from ready. When done it will trace access to the domain and if a bot hits blocked areas multiple times it will automatically add it to a ban list in htaccess. The beauty of this is that even if the bot changes names it will still get banned automatically due to its hits. The down side is that if the list grows too quickly the htaccess could slow your site down so it will need to be monitored.

As for a list of bots, there are a few good examples available via a quick search but always be sure to check them first to make sure you actually want all the bots included to be banned.

I stand corrected. Looks like a reasonably new problem I was not aware of. Did a little research and found a useful article.
