Paysite....how the integration is done?

Hello,

How are the paysite tour/join pages , affiliate program , payment processor and members area integrated with each other.

Just curious to know the technical part...is it very tough that only a scripter can do it or is it so easy that even a stupid person(not me though) can do it??

No it is not easy at all unless you are simply using ccbill as a join page. Anything else and yes it is very hard to do.

There's enough pre-built systems out there that do this all for you -- not that I like any of them, mind you, so I can't really tell you which would fit you best because I can't truly give impartial advice

Join page billing and affiliate payment processing can be very simple or it can require lots of custom coding. It depends on your wants and needs. CCBill, as Ramster said, is the simplest (probably most trusted) solution out there and they cover you all the way from the join page to paying your affiliates. Setting them up on your join page isn't much more than pasting in the join form code once they approve your site. You give them FTP access and one of their techs will set up the members' area access integration for you.

If you want something to block password sharers, you'd need to get a copy of Strongboxxx - and that's installed by the coders, so you don't have to do anything there except purchase the product.

You members' area can be composed of simple HTML pages containing the content or you can purchase a CMS. Some CMSs are fairly inexpensive and handle the bare minimum tasks of creating thumbs and displaying content. Some are very expensive, but they can build static pages (better for server performance) and give you the ability to schedule updates ahead of time, as well as rotate content in and out. (If you know what you're doing, a light blogging script can be hacked to handle updates and rotation if you build your own HTML pages.)
