This morning I took a little trip with the time machine
I remembered the name of my first host and also their web adress. So I figured I'd see if they were still online. And after 14 years the website still was up and nothing had changed.
http://www.xcite.net/ Damn hosting was expensive back then. I also loved it that the resource area still had links to Netscape and stuff like that. Ahhh.... those were the days. Had I only knew back then what I know now ![]() |

I remember building a site for free back on Tripod a long ass time ago. It was one of the dumbest sites ever, but isn't there anymore...probably for the best.

I still host with Xcite
![]() Been with them since around '98 or so, I can't remember the last time I was down and Mike's a great guy. I took a look through their resources and found http://www.webmastersguide.com/ There's a thumbnail maker you can download from there called "Thumbnail To List" that I've been using almost every day since '98. It's very hard to find these days. It makes your thumbs and writes your html in seconds, the best program I've ever seen for that.
