The Boomtown Rats were right about Monday's

Good Morning. Up early to take one of the cars to the shop - it developed a rather bad coolant leak over the weekend which doesn't appear to be a gasket leak, but rather a hose leak, so, shouldn't be too bad.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Duct Tape fixes everything...

No leaks here but did have to get up early to move a huge pile of yard waste out to the street for today's pickup. Leg seems to be pain free but I'm scared to death of actually using it for anything in fear that it is going to mess up again. I'm not supposed to eat anything with vitamin K in it, like chocolate, or anything with fats in it, or anything with a lot of sugar it, or pretty much anything that tastes good so maybe I'm scared enough to actually loose some weight.

I'm on 3 types of blood thinners, supposed to be on 4 by insurance won't pay for one of the real expensive ones, and the enoxaparin sodium injection one is leaving big bruises where I inject in which is in my belly fat, they said it would, so my belly looks like someone beat the hell out of me or something.

Going to call my general doctor here in a bit for my weekly blood test that I'll need as long as I'm on the blood thinners.

Oddly I feel great, just not sure if I'm going to go broke before I'm cured.

Hopefully all is properly fixed now - I'm sure that has been a nightmare process.

Nothing too eventful so far this money, but my weekend was alright. Went bar hopping for most of it, so now I'm mildly hungover. Had some fun though.

Good morning all,

Recovering from an exhausting metal meeting. The sun burned my neck, face and arms so it looks like I have a white shirt on when I take my shirt off.
Tomorrow everything should be back to normal.

Cya then

Morning all.

Finally got my AVS site live after a rather frustrating series of having to re-do bits and already am getting sales, so I'm happy. After seeing extreme sold, I decided to embrace it and make it my own.

Cleo, I'm glad you are pain free, but damn the blood thinners are crappy, as I know you will bruise easy. Maybe you could check out a homeopathic doctor eventually, and find out if there is anything different you could do that would be more natural.

Yesterday, I was lazy and had two different Amy's brand TV dinners for lunch and dinner. about half the celiac's said they have problems with them, 1/2 don't.

I was sicker than hell yesterday afternoon and fell over getting out of bed losing my balance, a feeling I haven't had since I quit the gluten. They apparently make their "gluten free" meals in the same place as the ones with gluten, but on different days. I must have had some cross-contaminated ones. I feel hung over this morning, and have too much work to take time off. Just a reminder of why I don't get to eat a lot of junk food I liked because, oh yea, makes me sick as hell. I feel for you cleo on giving up foods you like.

Have a good one all everyone!

Waterpump. $41 - including labor, $260. Having seen what it would take to put that water pump in, I feel that was a bargain.

You got off cheap if it is like most modern cars. My friend had to have her's replaced on her Nission and it was close to $800 as they had to drop the engine. It was a front wheel drive car so that is probably why.

I remember when I was on the coumadin after my deep vein thrombosis and subsequential pulmonary embolisms in my lungs, I woke up one morming to a large mass the size of a grapefruit growing out of my hip....scared the fuck out of me but turned out to be a hematoma

Something else to maybe look forward to.

Coumadin is one of the other thinners that I'm also on. I would also be on Plavax but insurance won't pay for that one although I did just fax all the required paperwork that supposedly gets it for free when it isn't covered by insurance.

I paid about $400 for mine which was a good deal because it's a VW and nothing seems to be cheap or easy on those cars so yeah sounds like an amazing deal if it was a new water pump.

Just found out today I got a new job so in two weeks I'll be earning much more so maybe I can invest some more into my adult work.

Coumadin is the major rat poison out there
Rats eat it, then try to squeeze through small crevices and they bleed to death...lol

Oh FUCK, it really is rat poison.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warfarin

Great I'm eating rat poison and injecting enoxaparin sodium which is made from pig intestine mucus.

No wonder I feel like crap this evening.
