adwords cost for 'porn' ???

hi, just wondering if anyone here ever bought google adwords campaign for keyword 'porn' and what it would CPC to be on first page?? i stil owe them for an old campaign lol just like 25 bucks but didnt want to open account till i know if this idea might fly.

Personally I would never buy that word. It's too generic. Use the adwords for better targeted phrases so you can make some money!!!

You can be on the first page for about .15 a click - but like Ramster says - unless youhave one hellofa conversion ratio with free surfers (like 1:30) it's not very targetted. On the other hand, if you have a way of earning that back on every click - go for it

BTW - that would put you around the 4th or 5th ad down on the first page - and about a cost of $55 a day for just around 500 clicks (estimated)

One of my free sites is in the 3ld position under the search term
Tijuana Brothels.
There's a new site promoteing information on Tijuana brothels useing addwords under that same search term.
The new site has a free forum and jugeing by the number of people that have joined there forum the addwords aren't working for them

thanx, linkster and ramster, your right i would never do it for normal non-targeted porn and i am definatley not looking for anything with word free, .15 is great so should work, adult webmaster keywords were a fortune when i bought them like 2.00 a click lol so i tho porn was going to be a lot. i am guessing i can get 1:30 or maybe less on this idea, i'll let u all know later this week when i try it
