Two days away from a full moon Friday the 13th. It's June 11, 2014

Won't be another full moon Friday the 13th until 2049.

Was out last night in Wilton Manors and SunServe was looking for volunteers. Figuring it was a good way to network and meet new people I offered to volunteer. The director gave me a really boring list if areas that they needed volunteers in, but them I mentioned that I was a graphic designer and he saw some of my work. Calling him on Friday to discuss more and it looks like I may have landed a paying position doing their design work. The place is less than two miles from my home and are really big in the gay community so I should be also able to pickup lots of freelance work.

It seems that I live in the area of New New York (Broward, Palm Beach) The sixth borough, full of Yankees baseball caps, bagel shops, and hellaciously obnoxious drivers.

Besids my usual day of more of the same tonight is the Lesbo-a-GoGo event that I'm helping to put together. I'm being paid to take pictures of the event so I'm charging all the batteries of my Nikon equipment and trying to remember how to use everything since it has been years since I've done this type of photography.
