will I be banned?
If I change(convert) movie files from wmv to mpg on my freesites. Will I be banned by LLs? Should i inform LL webmasters before I do it? I am afraid i will have to do that to protect from hotlinkers

Go near the bottom of this page for htaccess that will protect gif, jpg, png, swf, mpg, and avi files.

Won't get you banned at either Jays or Marks.
Just make sure the movies are the same length... ie.. replace 10 second clip wmv file one with 10 second clip mpg file one.
