Been a fucked up day.

For some reason I knew it was going to happen eventually...every morning my sister takes her kids to school and if she's not back by a certain time I get worried.

Well today it happened. Some dumb ass Vegan driver pulled out in front of her onto one of the busiest streets trying to cross 4 lanes of traffic....she never even looked left to see if traffic was coming...ran the stop sign and just pulled right into traffic.

Well my sister ended up with a broken ankle...the dogs were thrown to the floor but okay...my nieces were already at school and my car was totalled.

This is near a school zone...she came out of a 25 and wasn't going much more than 30...but the lady pulled out so fast she didn't have much time for breaking and pretty much hit full speed.

This area near the school is utter chaos during the morning and afternoon. the officers working the traffic accident told me that they have to respond to an accident in that general area at least once a day.

I arrived shortly after the accident and the officer asked me to do what I could to get the car off of the street so I'm pulling off and he's directing traffic a huge truck wouldn't stop even after the officer yelled at him numerous times..cut right in front of me to turn right as I'm pulling into the side street...he just yelled at the cop..."I need to go here!."

Fuck you Las Vegas you god forsaken shit hole full of god forsaken shitheads.

Yeah I'm pissed. There's a reason this city leads the nation in pedestrian deaths...and I'm sure is up there when it comes to traffic accidents..because most people are here are a bunch of corkies in need of a monthly bus pass on the short yellow bus.
