Free or Very Cheap Directory Software?

Would be great if each category works as a top list.

I suspect there's a malicious ad among the third party ads that rotate.

Ubuntu to the rescue. Just installed on an old xp laptop. Nice. I'll see if I can check on the laptop. I do appreciate the ref.

Lot's of redirects here as well.

Anyway back to question you can try former JMBsoftware that's available on free license and not anymore supported. But it's free. From paid scripts I suggest only one. Gosssmer Links by Gossamer Thread.

Thanks for the recs pc. Gossmer looks pretty good. Also, going to re-think JMB.

Gossamer looks good, plenty of paid plugins available from admin backend. I It's just very expensive. Way to much for a linklist script.

I think Danger Dave and a few others used Gossamer way back in the day, but not such an advance version of it. I recall it being pricey back then too.

If my script was stable and intuitive, I'd give you a copy. I can make the pages look pretty, but the backend is train wreck.
