Mon Nov 11, 2019 Remembrance / Veterans Day
Morning.
 It's Remembrance Day here in Canada. Be sure to thank a veteran today. Like Greenie, we are getting some snow today. Up to 15cm (6 in). I am sure he is getting much more. I've got 2 meetings today and 1 has already been cancelled. What's with that? This is Canada. Anyhow, I will be at my desk working away doing whatever it is I do.  Happy Veterans Day to all who served & more importantly:   THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!! It's a mini-holiday for me, as I don't have to pick up the ASSIL & The Bitch did my mom's grocery shopping yesterday. It is snowing, but barely  The Hurricane Blizzard  is supposed to start this afternoon...probably while we're on the way home from our annual appt with Dr Pimple Popper later today  I also have a non-drinking hangover  |

Good Morning
To all veterans: Thank you for your service! Been a busy morning already with getting up at 5 and doing some biz stuff, quick trip to grocery store and then cutting out a bunch of roots in the way of the dry creek. Back is really hurting from yesterday so besides removing roots (only took 45 min) I will be resting doing biz stuff the rest of the day, plus tv watching. I know it's a 3 day weekend but with my wife loosing her job it has hit me she is going to be at home all day until she figures out what she is/wants to do. I already miss being home alone for 12 hours a day  Enjoy your Monday! |

Happy Remembrance Day and Veteran's Day
Been up and working as usual, that;s the plan until maybe 7ish as I play basketball tonight. Didn't get online yesterday at all until around 6pm for about 30-40 minutes, first time I've done that in YEARS I'm pretty sure. I'm always online in the mornings even when traveling. In Vegas I'm always online in the mornings and if needed to fix issues will pop back on as needed. European trips, same deal, online every morning. My only "vacations" have been work related lol, to Las Vegas or to Los Angeles, mostly to visit daughter and every time I work while away. I haven't been a "real vacation" since the wife, daughter and I took a cruise in 2011, that's fucking sad when I say it out loud  We have visited family in Nova Scotia for 4-5 days at a time but you spend so much time driving around visiting people, you need a vacation when you get home LOL, and again, I always do some work each morning. |
