Bad few days for me...
I'm having bad times lately. Few days ago I lost my offline job in which I putted too much efforts and it was a stress for me.
 In country where I live it's not easy to get a job so altough I earn more online I didn't quit my offline job but now I lost it. I am telling you this here because I made few mistakes with my last 2 sites because of this. Forgot to change links to galleries on templates. Sorry guys and girls and thanks Plateman to leting me know of my mistakes. |

Sorry to read this, Iggy.
Do you live anywhere near Split? I know someone from there who lives in Thailand and teaches English. From what he told me, Internet access there was still fairly expensive relative to what people make in Croatia. I was surprised to see someone from Croatia doing adult stuff. The economy is very very tuff there so I hope you can find something else. |

Nope, I don't live near Split and yes internet access is too fuckin' expencive. We have only one telecom company so choice is only take it or leave it.
I pay average more than 200$ monthly for dial up access  |

I remember being very, very scared when I was thinking about quiting my "other" job back in 98 but once I did, I never looked back.
Plus it's amazing the work you can get done when you have an extra 9 hours a day  |

I'm to the point where I'm hiding from my consulting clients and just wish they would stop calling me. I told one the other day that I was in Wyoming growing dental floss with my calls forwarded there and had no idea when I would be able to get back to Florida.

Sorry to hear this. $200 for dial up per month is real bad. We have ADSL and it's 35 euros.
I hope everything goes OK - usually it goes after you stop to be afraid and decide what to do. As I have own many companies from the time I was 23 I have been many times in situations where it looked I will be homeless soon, but everytime things went OK after I got myself to think and decide what to do.

Sorry to hear you lost your job Iggysick.
Just keep building and submitting those freesites and you won't need another day job I quit my full time job about 18 months ago with £2000 in savings as backup, but it was worrying with a mortgage and car loan and bills etc. At the time I was only making between $300 to $400 per week from doing this. And now, I average that in a day. Keep your chin up Lisa |

Hey iggy sorry to hear that but everything happens for a reason, Knowing I was making enough money in this biz 3 years ago and could go full time but as a single parent never dared to do it however I had a deadly car accident over two years ago which also cost me my career and from that day on I became a full time webmaster. The accident was the scariest moment of my life but I am much happier now than I was 3 years ago. Keep your chin up and everything will be just fine. Wish you the best of lucks.

Starting fulltime is an answer. If you build 1 freesite every day and get it listed it won't take long before you earn nicely every month. I don't know your dayjob, but probably you will be much happier as webmaster every time you visit your bank.
It's harder these days than it was back in 1998 but it can be done. Just keep building, and the money will come.
