72˚ F (23˚ C) already this fine south Florida morning.

I bet that if you flipped Lapetus open there would be another smaller moon inside and another one in that one too.

Weatherman says we're due for mid-50s today and tomorrow, just warm enough to melt off the rest of last week's snow in time for next week's onslaught. Wintertime in the Rockies... gotta love it!

it sucks when we have storms like the one were getting there's about a five mile streach of open bay to build wind waves that have been slamming into my boat for the last two days and were having a plus 7 high tide in about a half hour, so I need to get out in this wet windy crap and check my docklines.

I was just out and about and it's WINDY. Supposedly a hurricane warning is issued. The weather service said people should stay indoors, but so far it doesn't look too bad.

I take that back. They just closed to bridge between Sweden and Denmark for all traffic and it feels like the windows are going to blow in.

We're getting another 3-6 inches of the white stuff here in Eastern Upstate Nowhere, NY. The wife and I are heading over to Vermont for an overnighter with some friends. I love driving during heavy snowfalls. It gives me an opportunity frighten those intimidated by a rusty ol' SUV driving like the roads are dry.

I was just "WTF? since last year" - then I remembered it's Jan 8th today

No large trees. Just a flag pole that has a flag that is blowing upwards instead of sideways hehe.
My biggest concern is flying roof tiles.

I just read that so far two people have died. A tree fell over their car.
