what was the best April fools joke today?

So early this morning SexycityJim trys to get me on an april fools joke but I dont bite. Later I get with our programmer and have him contact Jim to let him know that he could not get hold of me and that he thinks he just deleted all the the affiliate sales stats. In the mean time I quit anwsering my phone so Jim could not call me at home so had to call on the cell phone. Now you have to keep in mind that for 3 months Jim has been working with 2 programmers and 4 graphics desginers to revamp the sexycitycash program and the changes are supposed to launch monday. So Jim calls me on the phone to tell me what the programmers said and I tell him I will be right their. After I get off the phone I call my partner Bill and have him call Jim and say that an affiliate called and all his sales stats are missing. Now Jim is sweating. So we spend a little time in a yahoo conference with the programmer talking about why the data base will not restore and I was also on the phone with jim and I said that I kept running the restore page and get the same error then I post the link

LOL let me add some important info here on this prank.
1) I have been working really close with the mentioned employees and consider all them of very good friends (till now!! heh heh) so one of them losing their jobs over a mistake effects me personally. I like(d) these guys heh heh
2) The programmer in question is playing this off in hopes of winning an academy award. I am conpletely convinced that he is curled up in a ball crying about deleting the database and having a corrupted backup
3) The OWNER of the company calls me saying an affiliate calls him wondering where the stats are (yes, we give that kind of support to our affiliates)
4) The owner is INSISTING that not Brian, who usually handles the more technical aspects of the business, but I call him immediately when i know something for sure.....because it is an affiliate issue and therefor I am directly responsible...
5) I am the type of person who can go from zero to EXTREMELY stressed out in about a nano-second

when i clicked on the link..........well, I am still recovering

LOL the thought crossed my mind!! I told them all I hated them and wished horrible things to happen to their family pets!! LOL but Brian could fire me so i smiled, chuckled and just made my 'going postal' plans for next week LOL

heu jim i was fooled too... i didnt get it when i opened the link... i didnt mind the error message.. Brian is asking me if i know somebody who do MYSQL databases.. and hooola... o called all my contacts just to ask if they know MYSQL... but as soon as i tol brian that i know somebody who could do the job he then blurted out that ecerything was a joke... hehehe

for me it was my kids shake the cola bottle but i got them back, i said i grounded them for a week and after they cleaned the mess, i said april fools day, i got slapped by my kids, i am still looking for an lawyer to get my kids

i had a little gig at Texas Station Casino thursday and Friday so yesterday i took my son. His dad was calling like hourly to find out how he was doing. Although my son is 14 he is 6'4" already so no one ever questions him when he's in the gameroom or goes to the movies by himself. Anyway after about the 4th call from his dad, i was tired of the phone ringing..so on the next call i said in a quiet whispered voice. "i can't talk right now i'm at the security desk. Spud came out of the movie, put 3 dollars in the mega bucks machine and hit the jackpot. I gotta go" and hung up the phone.

Needless to say he called right back. at which point i answered the phone: Gotcha!!

It was the highlight of my week!!

My favorite one I pulled on my Mom when I was about 10. I put an elastic around the trigger on the water gun by the sink. So when she would turn on the water to fill the coffee pot at 6am she got a cold shower - LOL!

I think I'm still grounded.
