Does this idea work for you?
Or am I on the wrong track totally?
Be the judge to see if it works for you. If you find my content drives good traffic, that spends money, to a sponsor who does not buy from us, then speak to the sponsor. Tell him about the content and how well it works for you. Any content the sponsor buys, I will also give a copy to the introducing affiliate, free of charge. The sponsor can't give our content to anyone else, the affiliate can use it within the confines of our license. Simple enough? |

methinks if a sponsor buys content then he should be able to furnish his affiliates about 25 watermarked images to use to promote his program

Lots of sponsors want content that is not given away for free on other sites. Some do, but few will pay extra to make up for the difference in sales. However many affiliates realise that using sponsor content can hinder them on the best sites, plus using sponsor content does not build their company and the sponsor owns the traffic they direct. So they want to leap frog other affiliates, build a portfolio of content and OWN THE TRAFFIC THEY GENERATE. So if in the future things change they can also change direction of the traffic. Some affiliates will never buy content, but a few do. |

I recall when Greenguy was running a program, he listed his content providers and affiliates could purchase the same content to promote his site. |

What I'm trying to do is maximise our profits for the long term rather than going for the quick bucks. I had this idea to get around sponsors who will only allow affiliates to use content on their site. With many themed sites I can see the reason, with most "General niche" sites I do not. So this way could give the affiliate who wants content not with 100 other people that day and yet still on the sponsors site. Sponsor gets traffic, affiliate gets traffic and yes we get business. |

methinks Emanuelle, Useless and Chop are smart but I'll be damn if I'd admit to it in public.
