Questions about link list submissions

Hi everyone, I've been building and submitting freesites for a few weeks now. I posted my first two here for your comments and got some really good advice which I've used and which has helped me make a few sales already Can't believe how good that first sale made me feel!! Thanks for the help!!!. Of course as I make progress I get questions. Here are the latest which I would greatly appreciate help with. Some link lists are closed for submissions and some appear to be by invitation only, I do understand that large lists probably do get lots of junk submissions and they have to weed out the crap but does this mean that I'll never have a chance with these guys? (Danger Dave and Tommys are a couple) or can I apply somewhere and show examples of my sites to show that I'm not a cowboy. Some seem to have premium submitters accounts, I think this means paying for listings which seems reasonable to me if they can send large amounts of traffic, is there a central site where I can apply for a premium account for example to Richards Realm? Any help with these would be appreciated. Thanks for being there for us newbies, now its back to freesite building!

My understanding is that DD is by invitation only. Don't bother him with questions about submitting.

Tommy opens his list up to new experienced submitters once in a while and may post a notification. There is a fee involved.

I don't know of too many LL's where a premium account can be paid for so I doubt that there is a list of these out there, but who knows.

It seems we are threading the same waters… I’m expanding my submission roster and, to that end, I have visited a large number of sites but have found very few that offer premium accounts. I know that Thumbzilla does, and Tommy’s charges a non refundable application fee (if you’re interested you should keep checking this forum and you might get lucky cause he posts here when he’s opening his submissions). But as far as there being an actual list of sites offering premium submitter accounts I have never seen one.

I would love to be able to submit to DD myself but have no idea how to go about it, and judging from what Preacher said I guess I’ll have to strengthen my sea-legs before I can aspire to that one and others (Links for Sex, Cleo…). For instance, I sent a PM to Linkster of Links For Sex with some samples of my work, but I guess that’s not the right way to go because I received no reply. By the way, sorry if I overstepped my boundaries Linkster!

As far as I know, Richard’s Real does not offer premium accounts, the “trick” there, as in all other places, is to build good, honest sites. Only thing with Richard’s is that they do not notify if they list your site, so you should keep track of where they are with their scrutiny (through the link you’ll find on your submission’s response); when you’ll see your dates have passed you should check their list of new links and if your site is there you’re up, if not...

Last time i looked RR does have a premium account @ $35 monthly.

There are numerous BIG LL's (Penis Bot, Jaysxxx, Link-O-Rama, etc)that you can list at without a partner account and all of them can be found here on the board at one place or another. Best though to keep making enough sites so that you have some portfolio to show the lists that do request samples when you can find them. But make sure that they've already been through quality control by having the sites accepted at other smaller lists. Another way to get partner account attention is to continue to post here so people get to know you.
