my sites trafifc took a dump

i have a mgp and traffic recently took a dump, and i was curious if anyone else experiences this kind of traffic dump every once and a while. I know its just a mgp and not a paysite, but its about all i can afford right now.

mines gone up 1000%, then again when you start out at 0 it's easy to do.

what do you guys suggest i do to increase traffic? I have traded traffic with a simple script with a few sites, but i dont generate tons and tons so it doesnt really do much besides get my name out there. I have also submitted to about 5 directories, i am working on doing more but its tough going through them all.

What else can i do that yields good results? I thought running an adult website wouldbe a no brainer and traffic would just jump but i was wrong.

So what can i DO?

Welcome to possibly the most competitive part of the web

Definitely not a no brainer.
Luckily there are quite a few kind souls on this board who will help within reason, at least with ideas and honest criticism.
A good start would be to post your url. If we don't know what you're doing it's hard to give advice

the url is defyit.net i know its not the best name but i had the domain available so i used it. I am working on making hte design look better, i have not had it up for long so its kind of a work in progress.

Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

Actually, I kinda like it

Has a sort of "up yours" attitude! Using Adult Friend Finders as a sponsor won't make you a lot of friends here though.
Personally I'm not crazy about script based trades, skimmed hits & such, but that's why I don't use them, plenty do.
Try posting in the TGP forum, maybe you can get some script based trades there, it's not my area of expertise. I've got a fake TGP at http://www.screamingasshole.com that I'd trade hard links with you on just coz I like the name
