Lawley is fighting a court battle vs. US Government
The British man behind the proposed .xxx internet domain believes that the US Government has intervened to thwart his plans. Stuart Lawley is fighting a court battle to retrieve the documents he says would prove his case.http://www.out-law.com/page-7824 |

I don't understand what he hopes to gain here? It was widely reported in the press that the US gov't opposed .xxx. How does "proving" that make any difference to ICANN?

NO! Im not a female - but being a dragon, I do eat them.

What he hopes to gain is that the US Commerce dept did something to get Icann to turn him down the first time around and he thinks he can prove it with those docs - which would then put him in the position of being able to sue the US for damages arising fromthe loss of the .xxx approval - which might make up for the fact he knows he's not gonna get it approved this time around by ICANN again
