how do you dump an Auto Gallery SQL db from one server/host to another server/host ?

does anyone have a clue how I can ensure that the
db on host1 get's dumped or imported (whatever the
proper term is) from host1 over to host2 when moving
a domain name that has the Auto Gallery SQL running
on it ??

Use the Backup/Restore function that is in its admin.

The backup/restore within Auto Gallery might work. Not sure, but if you have phpMyAdmin, you can export the db to your local and then import it up to the new loacation. Really not a biggie.

the tech at server 2 had already tried that and it wouldn't work...

could it be because version one is still up on server one
and the software license is only good for one domain
name ??

is there any way I can be sure we do have the db to
do what you suggest - before closing the hosting
at server one ??

thanks cleo...

phpMyAdmin will work too

The Backup/Restore function is simpler IMO.

Either way don't shut down your old host until you get everything working on the new host.
