Halifax Nova Scotia Hurricane
Damn man, looks like it hit pretty good. Worst storm in 40 years for Halifax they're saying. And my mother-in-law said my favorite restaurent is gone. "Salty's" is on the Halifax waterfront and serves great everything. Bummer.
She was without power for a day and a half. My parents live there too but are now an hour out of town and on the northern shore so nothing but some wind for them. Boats sunk in the harbour and trees a 100 years old gone. http://www.canada.com/maritimes/stor...4-71C34C1F8C4D |

Man, that sucks! I was in the UK during that storm, so I only heard about it.
I heard the winds even hit our town. Worried me a little since I just got my roof redone :-) DistantD www.distantdoor.com |

All we had was a little rain and that was a different storm a few days earlier. For Halifax they had to call in the army to help clean up the streets.
