Need to do something about your traffic?
I was going to name this thread "Some times I wonder if I'm on crack", but I figured it wouldn't be too appropriate in the Business category
![]() Went to bed last night and too many work thoughts were running around in my head so I gave up after a while trying to sleep. I needed to make a map of what the traffic flow currently looks like and what it should look like in 6 months. So I got ahold of a flow chart program and couple of hours later this was the result: ![]() Now when I look at it again, I wonder if I was on crack ![]() No but seriously. It was really useful. I could clearly see where I was lacking and needed to improve. So if you want to venture into other traffic source, need to take things to the next level or just don't get enough traffic. Bring out pen and paper and write down as many traffic sources you can come up with, do your research and you will fill plenty. Think outside the infamous box ![]() Pick the ones that you want to work with. Now you write down ALL the different kinds of sites/pages you can make for those traffic sources AND what other things you can feed with those traffic sources. Make a flow chart and see how many times you can use a certain type of traffic. The more things you can feed with one type of traffic, the better. Get as much use out of it as possible. When that's done. You can see what you don't have today and need to make. Write down a proper schedule, break it down as much as possible. You are now one step closer to sanity or insanity, depending on your schedule ![]() My 2 morning cents - cheers ![]() |

If it would be for all domains and shit, then it would be chaotic
![]() I just made one for sources and targets, then sources and targets can be broken down into domains. That TouchGraph thing looks like something I can waste my time on ![]() Btw. Are you hooked on L Word too? I'm almost ashamed of it, but I follow it. For some reason it seems interesting and I don't know if it's only because of all the damn nice tits in every episode ![]() Last edited by swedguy; 2005-02-18 at 08:29 AM.. |

The dotted line was something I was unsure how to solve or if it was the right way to go about doing it
