Why does everyone laugh??

Ok, now don't let it be said that I don't have strange tastes. I do, and I freely admit this. Sometimes its just plain fun to be different ya know (call me an 80s throwback) but I have wanted this particular item that I found on line for about 8 years. It was just always either out of my price range or a bit too extravagant for my wife to agree for me to buy. I finally came to an arrangement with her that I could use the money I make doing some side stuff (I edit videos for some very good companies) and buy this item. But they thing is, it seems no matter who I show it to, their first instinct is to bust out laughing and assume I am kidding. LOL its kind of disturbing ya know? Any ways, I am kind of in the position of needing this bad boy now since I absolutely HAVE to do some exercising and as soon as my next check comes in, I am ordering it. I esp cant wait to see what Cleo think of this since I have seen pics of her on a bike in the past (now if i could just get a boat!! I saw them pics too LOL)

here it is http://www.rhoadescar.com/4w1p-h.htm
I wont get the canopy but tell me why you laughed LOL

Yeah I can just see you on that smoking a big fat cigar.

Canopy would be welcome in the Florida sun but it might become a sail in the wind.

If you got a modified seat you could start Bang Bike (or whatever a 4-wheeler is called - maybe a "quike").

I used to have one of those. I used to have quite a few bicycles and when they started building recumbent bikes, I got one and picked up a 2 seater.

That's a cool looking contraption!
I like the really big ones that they rent at the beach. Some of them seat 8 people!

Anyone remember Swingbikes? One of the Osmonds used to do the ads for them.

A friend of mine had one and I still want one!

Here's a pic:

didn't the rear wheel on the swing bike also turn? It looks like the entire pedal assembly in that picture does turn. I had really forgotten about those. I wanted one of those when I was a kid, but, mortgage payments seemed to be a more prudent investment at the time.

Yes, there was a pn that you pulled right under the front of the seat that put the bike into "swing" mode. The whole crank assembly would rotate with the rear wheel.

You'll see these things on eBay from time to time.
They usually sell for $300-$400 when they're in mint condition.

If my sites ever decide to start making money - LOL!

Wait til the end of the auction, it will be up to $300 or so probably.

I always wanted to steal one of those huge things that they rent at the beach. Rent it with a fake ID and just tie it to the roof and drive home - lol!
