How exactly does the sandbox work?
Hi, if my domain lands in the sandbox it's totally excluded from Google results or get distant positions?

Pages on new domains will get indexed but they won't rank decently for anything competitive.

Google doesn't acknowledge that the sandbox even exists, but it's pretty obvious that they're adding a "newness" factor to the rankings for new domains. The more popular the search query the heavier the factor is applied.

sandbox is mostly on pages built on new domains trying to compete for "high-traffic keywords". should prevent the serps for competitive keywords of spam
