CCBill / Loss of Revenue
OK I'm into a full week of this CCBill issue and its effecting what I do big time.
I figure the same issues will apply to others here. For me i cant see any of their pages, from time to time I can though mostly I can not. This means it must be the the same for our would be customers. What it has made me realise is that if CCBill were to go tomorrow there is a good chance my business would suffer a great loss. It's a worry, a real worry :-( |

I agree, if ccbill left it would hurt for sure. But that's the case with any major processor. Right now sales are hurting for a lot of people thanks to this DDOS attack and downtime they're having.
It sucks. |

I would think they're fixing the problems asap as it's lost money for them as well, but I wish they would speed it up! I can see my stats fine. What I have to do is click refresh once while the page is loading. If I don't the page never loads.
Uhg.

I getting al kinds of twisted stories, I think this situation should give the Paysite Owners something to think about.
If I had a pay site right now I would be wacking another processor up on 2nd tour and sending the codes to the affiliates so they can change them or not. This week I feel like I am smashing my head against a brick wall and theres nothing I can do about it |

I have CCBill sending me mail each time I have a sale.
Sales with CCBill while down a bit still are doing well for me so maybe it is just their admin being affected, don't know. We have Epoch as a secondary processor but sales using Epoch have been next to non existent. |

The site owners I work withhave seen a decline of between 25 - 45% on their numbers. One of the affiliates I use they were down for a few days so they calculated your average sales and paid you a good will gesture. Unlikely to happen in this situation one feels.

CCbill sponsors are about 75% of my monthly income. The last week has been horrific.

Good example of not putting all your eggs in one basket, course kinda hard when so many programs use CCBill. Another reason I wished IBill did'nt go down, least we had another option. I really dont like using some much CCBill myself, just think, if something should happen.

I have seen sales everyday too actually at ccbill.
Remember now that many cascading sponsors use ccbill too. I would hope most that do probably switched to their other processor as the primary. I know NSCash is using Epoch as the primary and I know NYC Cash uses Paycom & Jettis. |

Lord help me, I'm just not that bright

i dont run a paysite but it seems like this would be the time to get cascading billing and have multiple proccessors in case their problems continue or get worse

I use ccBill as my primary CC process, and I haven't noticed any problems. My sales numbers have remained about the same through all of this, and even when I got notification of the DDOS attack, I had been on checking my stats and had several sales during that time they were supposed to have been unaccessible. I guess maybe it affects everyone differently!

Yeah... that's like saying that I need to go out and buy a new car because there was a report that someone had car trouble with the same make.
From everything I have heard, people have had better success with ccBill than others like Paycom or Verotel. And like I said, I haven't noticed any problems with them, even with the DDOS attacks.

Been through iBill, CCbill, Paycom. CCBill is the best by far.
Paycom doesn't even show hits or referrals in your stats, just how much you have made. |

Paycom can show hits, not many owners use that facility though (only one I know of, of the two I use lol)
I agree though, a DDOS attack could hit Paycom as easily. For the record, my ccbill stats are within the average range I normally have. |
