My first questions is:

What type of sites make more money? Movies or Pics

Want to start my own xxx site but need some guidance. I have a dedicated server in a DC that allows legal adult content. I want to start my own site but use others content. I will not be producing my own content. What type of sites are most succesfull,and realistically how much maney can you make. No bullshit!

Ideas for sites and please give me your feedback and poential earnings if halfway successfull.

1. Deluxepass Network
2. Adultbouncer Network.
3. Adult Review sites of all pay sites (like www.porn101.com)

My advice, is to choose a niche market that you either enjoy yourself or otherwise know something about and build a site around that theme.

As for earnings, the days of easy money are long ago gone but if you're willing to put in the hours and learn how to generate and filter traffic, optimize pages for search engines, create ads, pages, and tours that convert, then you can make a very comfortable living.

I agree with Toby 100%, the days of making a quick buck are long gone, but, choose a niche, or micro niche that you really enjoy or know alot about, and promote the shit out of it. Some people do bbw, some trannies, some feet. Niche is the way to go, if you go general porn you will have a much tougher time. just pick something you like, and go at it... if you post the categories/niches you would LIKE to work in, we would have an easier time telling you how to go about it.

I have had success with Deluxe. Create your account, request your content, make your clips and your members area, tour, etc and promote the hell out if. You will make sales.. but you will give up a lot of money to Deluxe. If you want to go that route buy the license to the cd yourself and keep all the profit. Rereading this I make it seem easy, but its not. I am also a gallery submitter so I promote my own sites, generate all my own traffic, se work, etc. Hope this helps.. and good luck!

to add to the very good advice already given
- make sure you read and research as much as possible
- don't be afraid to ask specific questions on boards like gg&j
- never try to cheat, thinking you are clever enough to get away with it, all cheaters get caught

Looks like both sites review sites and put up the latest previews but then get their money by referring signups to the site? Is that correct? If I would do somethng like this how much would I make on average with average effort?

Im looking to make 2-3K/month from the adult biz. Is that easy to do with a site like this if I have average traffic?

Would another type of site built around the same theme (big cock reality) be more profitable or get me the results I'm looking for on a monthly basis?

Any responses woudl help! Thanks and love this board for a newbie!

If you want to be a reviewer, why don't you get a job at some of the reviewsites already out there? I hate to break it to you, but no it's not easy to make 2-3K for a completely newbie.
I think you would learn a lot more by working for someone, than trying to start something yourself - at least in the review business. You need a lot of traffic to that reviewsite to be succesful.

If you really want to start working with adult and in the big cock niche - start by making some free sites, tgp and mgp gals - submit them and try to learn all there is about this particular niche, but do not expect to earn 2-3k after a month. It will take a lot of time and hard work to be succesful in this biz.

And don't forget all the related items for the niche you choose to promote.
Things like:
- Custom store featuring products for the niche.
- DVD promo pages for matching videos
- matching CAM sites
- review site for every pay site matching the niche

It all helps to pull in SE traffic as well.

What everyone's saying is true. You will not make 2-3k right away. Even 1k will take you some time if all you simply want is a review site. Im not saying it cant be done.. with enough money behind you to buy ad spots and traffic you could get your site started faster. Good luck!

It doesnt have to be a review site. I'm just trying to see what works to make some money. This is a side thing I want to get started not what I rely on to put food on my table.

I understand that it takes hard work to be successfully at anything you do and I am willing to put in that time and effort.

If a review site will be difficult to be profitable because of any reason than I will look to do another type of site.

Thatwas my orginal questions what type of sites are the most profitable if Im looking at making a few thousand a month?

If TGP or MGP galleries are a good start and will start to earn me some cash that is what Im looking for.

Again, I am in the Internet business and understand SEO and PageRank, etc... I know how hard it is to get traffic to sites, but I also dont want to spin my wheels on a site that is difficult to be profitable in.

What are the top earning sites that dont require your own content?

I'd say start building freesites like many here do. Build a hub were you list all your freesites. Put some ads on that hub. Make your hub SE friendly. Get it listed at some places. Trade links with other people's hubs....
That are just a few things you could do to start out and get some traffic. Ofcourse there's a big secret that can make you $2-3k a week right away but I'm not telling

A hub is kinda like your own private linklist, you can do anything you want with them. I have http://www.extremelyhotbabes.com where I just made a list of my own freesites (looks like shit I know). But you can put anything you want on there like hosted freesites and stuff like that. Throw in some linktrades, maybe a little toplist and get some traffic rolling on there.

My other, more succesful, hub is my LinkList
