Just what is a "console"?
I did a search and think I get it. Are these pages that pop-up when a surfer goes to leave your site?
If so- why are they called 'consoles'? Is there more to it than that? TIA |

 They can also pop on page entry either above or under the page. I have no idea why they are called consoles. LOL |

Console is proably the older term, based on the fact that pop-up windows used to be used as a navigation console and such like...
Then - like everything they got abused... I have other names for them.......... DD
