vBulletin Help

If you have a vBulletin board and it has symptoms like this

The boards are working. But the thing is running indescribably slow - 8-12 seconds to open a page, and that's just with me on the boards. Apparently, there may be a few 'rogue processes' bedevilling the server.

what can I tell this person to do in order to speed it up?

It's not an adult board, btw.

Years ago, as soon as I saw that vbulletin wasn't freeware I stopped looking at it.

Oh yeah - they have a huge board just loaded with tips & tricks & whatnot. I think you have to have a license to search & post, but then again, it is for owners of the board
