PC Problem
An acquaintance just called and said she put a new power supply in her computer but when she turns it on it turns itself off in 1-2 seconds. I want to act like I know what I'm doing when I go take a look at it but other than the wrong power supply, what might be the problem? I might get laid so this is important

Hi Licker4U,
Lets hope that just showing up there to "help" will get ya laid ![]() I'm not sure there is enough information. Is it a new power supply or used. At any rate I would "print out a schematic of her computer power supply wiring" and check the wattage and also see if the fan comes on when you turn on the power. It does not take long for the computer to ask for a re-boot when the fan or the wattage isn't correct. Good luck and enjoy. Ben

Thanks, I'm on my way over there now. I'll check the wiring and wattage.
