Navigation and header in Galleries

Hello...i started this thread with the thought of asking if it's taboo or against the rules to make original galleries with a navigation bar and then I thought, if that might be against the rules, then maybe there were other things I wasn't considering so I'll just ask, what are the written and unwritten rules of making my own galleries? Is navigation and a header bad? Does it need to be a free standing page with pictures and the 2257 records link at the bottom? please advise.

thank you...

Are these galleries for your own personal use or do you plan to submit them?

If you plan to submit them then just check the rules of the site you plan to submit to.

Hey Virgo, is this where a submitter would come in handy?

I've no idea, I haven't gotten into submitting galleries to TGPs.

I do know many TGPs have rules about the total number of outgoing links on a gallery though.

easymama if you build gallery to submit to TGP navigation is out of the question. Rules are. 1 html with all the thumbs linking directly to image (no image on html)

To make it easy for you, if you are going to submit galleries:

- 16 thumbs that leads directly to the full size image (no html pages)
- No scripts, active-X or other stupid shit. (not even a counter)
- 2/3 outgoing sponsor links. (read the rules...some TGP's have max. 2)
- No "next", "back", "home" or other links that lead to off-site pages.
- Not link back to you're HUB (Some TGP's accept this, but read the rules).

It is fairly simple...16 pics, 2/3 sponsor links, a fuckin unbelivable sales pitch, some good PA's and bang!

Good luck in the gallery game
