longitude/latitude??

Trying to update my profile on here and keep getting errror that I have not correctly put my latitude in? I went to multimap as suggested and they say mine is Location: United States
X: -9930100m Y: 4853600m
Lat: 40:06:17N (40.1046) Lon: 89:12:16W (-89.2045)

but I enter these numbers and still get error message..why do we need this to put stuff on our profile or is this a bug that I am experiencing?

Thanks

Dawn
