Happy Hump Day

I stopped caring about the phrase "hump day" since early 1996 when I started in this business. This is a 7 day/week job. There is no "Hump Day" in this business.

Anyway, we were supposed to get 8 inches of snow and ended up with over a foot. I will be plowing after 9 EST for a couple of hours and I am staying at my father's house tonight for hopefully the last time. (but probably not the last time)

Funny thing, I just noticed the last night that I stayed there that in my bedroom is a pc hooked up to a cable modem.

I have no idea why I just noticed it.

The weather here has returned to normal for this time of year. I'm running errands today, one of my stops is to pick up half a dozen Soyo 1 GB pen drives.

Hey Jim, happy non Hump Day right back at you, I actually dont think I ever was a "Hump Day" kinda guy.

My Wed. will be fun filled Im sure, need to continue to build the mailer for this week's release, follow up on some things from yesterdays meeting, followup on a few things from the GG&J Radio SHow, have our Stats meeting, run to the pcompany Im buying my Tanning beds from and pickup a few things for the Electricians, drop that shit off, come back here and try to get out of here somewhat early today (after about 13hrs instead of the normal 15hrs.)

Have a great non-Hump Day everyone.

Jim there is lots of hump in this business, just has nothing to do with the calender.

Another beautiful and sunny day here. Soon it will be hot nasty and humid, but right now we are having the weather that makes us want to live here.

I was setting up fruits yesterday for a client when we noticed that the proxy server was down. Walked over to the Win2K server and saw that there was a big virus warning on the screen so I called the person responsible for maintaining the Windows machines. At the end of the day the Macs were all working fine connected directly to the DSL line with all the Windows machines down. Hopefully they will get the accounting machine back online so that they can cut me a check. lol

Going to the gym this morning and then back home to build and submit naked nasty pics. One of these days I'll become a normal person and have just one job.

Coffee and left over black beans and rice now being served…

It rained water all night. As we had baddest snow storm for decades at weekend, we now have tons of water, because temperature went on plus too.

Front yard is full of water. No way to get rid of it, and they promised cold comes soon. Then we live in a world of ice.

Well, that happens every year. No big deal.

Cleo..if that win2k machine is an exchange server as well, it should have NAVSME 2.0 running (nortons top-down anti virus program)

They don't use Exchange so I doubt it is on the server, but they do have some kind of mail server running on it as I use the IP of it when setting up the mail program on the Macs for both the POP and SMTP. They use it for storage and as a proxy server too. They plan on replacing it with a rack mount Mac OS X box before the end of the year.
