Good Saturday Peoples
 I'm kinda confused.....how come there's only 5 posts ahead of mine?  I woke up at 7 & actually wanted to get out of bed. It'd be a perfect morning of my dog was not scared & hiding due to the CO2 detector making an error alarm (no CO2 in the house, but maybe time for a new alarm) That does remind me of the smoke alarm in my bedroom that started to go off for no reason. I assumed it was the battery, so I got a ladder & climbed up. I found that it was plugged in, so I unplugged it & the problem was solved - no more noise  That was in July 2001 We're going to play cards tonight at a friends house - they better have Versus  |

Still trying to wake up enough to be able to push on little keys and actually be able to spell words.
OMG I'm sore. Played racquetball at the gym late yesterday and then did a bunch of upper body exercises too. Waiting for the ibuprofen to kick in and then going to try to get a little kayaking group going today. |

 Morning..Watched a few movies yesterday.. Death Sentence with Kevin Bacon. Not really what i'd consider an A+ movie but it was ok. Tried to make sense of this really ODD movie Southland Tales with the Rock and Stiffler. And watched Season 1 of the Riches since I've missed so many it's hard to keep up with who is who in season 2. Last night we went to the UNLV tour stop of Post Secret. Had to walk to the Hard Rock to get a cab home so we had a late snack at the Pink Taco. Today we're off to the Rock-a-billy Car Show.. should be pretty fun. all the cars have to be from 1950-1963, so it should be interesting to see them especially since my RugDawg has developed a recent interest in muscle cars and older T-Birds. Our best wishes and good thoughts to Jim & Victoria. Just know you are in the best of care. have fun at OTB today..one day soon i'll just refuse to leave the house and surprise all of you!! |

Spent most of yesterday fixing broken stuff and cursing all sponsors who have slow feeds that hang your page and most especially all of those sponsors who insist on formatting the contents of the posts in their rss feeds. Tables? Fer christsakes why do they put tables in there?! (I can feel a rant post in the not-too-distant future.) Nice breakfast and another cup of coffee while I decide whether to be glad I got everything working now and just relax, or start some new project which will certainly consume the weekend. Sending strength, courage and an endless well of good spirits to Jim and Victoria. And wishing everyone the weekend you hope you'll have.

Morning All. Still a little under the weather, had a migraine complete with aura last night for the first time in years. The computer monitor seems awfully bright this morning. I'm so glad that I don't get them very often, they are a real bitch when they do happen.
Plan on getting an avs site finished today, plus try and do our back porch project if the wind has calmed down. Only a few more days before it is hot as they are predicting in the 90's by next week, so we have to get it finished. Bye bye spring, I'll miss you. Have a good one all.

Good day. I realized last night I have a bunch of old sites that pull in some traffic and I waste the traffic sending it to sponsors that don't convert. So I decided I was going to pick one and tighten up the leaks today. I should have done this...oh....two years ago. This is precisely why I changed my mode from making a bunch of little sites to investing time into making larger ones (that can be easily maintained.) It's like trying to maintain Rome. You have all these little outposts just sitting there, spread across the land and they all have to be maintained. But they're falling to the ground. And I'm a one man army.

Jim go as soon as possibe.. the earlier, the better, as they say. Poor dog, stressed out lol, their hearing is so great, much better than humans'. Now I know how to rob you out lol, all it takes a little noise, even the kind you don't hear but dogs, bats, dolphins etc. do. Fuck pollens, yes. I too have allergies and with my window open a bit all year I am getting a nice dose from the oh the beautiful garden. |
